For a TBC regular, adjusting a GNSS network is no longer a big challenge, but what about adjusting a multi-sensor network involving: GNSS, total station, and digital level data?  It is as much an art as it is a science to fine tune the settings in order to reach an optimal balance.

We are pleased to introduce the first TBC Power 1½ Hour to dive deep into the delicate network adjustment process and unfold the “why’s” behind each button click. Richard Hassler P.L.S. will anatomize real-world projects with data from all three sensors, describe observation weighting techniques, and interpret the network adjustment report for clues and hints.

IMPORTANT: This is an advanced network adjustment workshop and knowledge of the basics is assumed. Before attending this session, we urge you to watch its prelude: https://register.gotowebinar.com/recording/6122776041686405903.

Attendees will learn:

  • Theories and principles of how a combined network adjustment works
  • Behaviors of multi-sensor data in a network
  • How to assign weights to data from different sensors
  • How to interpret the network adjustment report for confident deliverables
